Louisiana Tech University School of Theatre is thrilled to announce our Spring Quarter production of The Pajama Game by George Abbott, Richard Bissell, Richard Adler, and Jerry Ross! Directed by Andrew Dylan Ray, the performances will be held at the Howard Center for the Performing Arts in Howard Theatre.

The show dates are Thursday, April 30th - Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, at 7:30 PM.

Auditions will be held Friday, February 20th from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM and will be focused on vocal auditions. The following Saturday, February 21st from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM will be an acting and movement focused audition. Auditionees should be prepared to attend both auditions. Auditionees should prepare an audition packet of 90 seconds for an audition song and monologue. This package can be divided any way the auditionee chooses (i.e. 45 seconds for their song and 45 seconds for their monologue, 60 seconds for their song and 30 seconds for their monologue, etc.).

"Conditions at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory are anything but peaceful as sparks fly between new superintendent, Sid Sorokin, and Babe Williams, leader of the union grievance committee. Their stormy relationship comes to a head when the workers strike for a 7 1/2 cent pay increase, setting off not only a conflict between management and labor, but a battle of the sexes as well."
